Individual Support Services

Individual Support Services assist adults with disabilities in their own homes. These services encourage independence and may include:

Helping finding housing
Teaching parenting skills to mother and fathers who have disabilities
Assisting with medical appointments
Assisting with securing or maintaining benefits
Finding community recreational and social opportunities
Finding and securing community services
Crisis intervention and follow up
Independent living training
Human relationship training
Assistance in obtaining legal services
Training in budgeting skills

These services are tailored to each person. Depending on the person´s needs, interaction with staff may vary from occasional drop-in supports to extensive in-home support on a daily basis.
